the holidays are here.
Don’t run yourself into the ground this holiday season.
November is when the year really starts moving fast.
Thanksgiving is around the corner.
Holiday shopping begins.
Travel picks up.
Football weekends are in full swing.
Work deadlines start piling up.
And before you know it, you're trying to fit an entire year's worth of activities into the last two months of the year.
Here's your reminder:
You don't have to run yourself into the ground to enjoy the holidays.
This month, we're talking about staying hydrated, protecting your routine, traveling smarter and making time for recovery.
First up this holiday season? Thanksgiving.
Let's be honest.
Thanksgiving isn't exactly a wellness retreat.
There's cooking.
Travel.
Family.
Desserts.
Football.
Late nights.
And approximately 47 opportunities to hear someone say:
"You have to try this."
And while there's absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying Thanksgiving, one meal—or even one weekend—doesn't have to derail your entire routine.
Our Thanksgiving advice?
Enjoy the food.
Enjoy your family.
Enjoy the football.
Just don't forget the basics.
Drink water.
Get some movement.
Get some sleep.
And when the weekend is over, simply get back to your normal routine.
You don't need to "detox" because you ate pumpkin pie.
🦠 IT'S ALSO RESPIRATORY VIRUS SEASON
November is a good time to start thinking about the basics that help protect you and your family during respiratory-virus season.
Everyday measures such as hand hygiene, avoiding close contact with sick people, staying home when sick, getting adequate sleep, staying active, managing stress, drinking fluids and eating nutritious food are great ways to protect your immune system this fall.
IV therapy does not replace any of those things but is a great support tool when you need it! Depending on your needs and medical eligibility, treatments may include fluids, electrolytes, vitamins and other appropriate components.
We hope your holiday season is filled with lots of great food, even better company, and a healthy family! Happy Thanksgiving!
